Pine Crest faced North Broward Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Mia Gold and Gabriella Florian, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Isabella Collado and her 12 assists.

Leading North Broward Prep to victory were Emma Luehrs and Destiny Wiggins. Luehrs had 21 assists and eight digs, while Wiggins had ten digs and six assists. Luehrs has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last nine times she's played.
