Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders vs. New Manna Christian Wind
The Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a serious blow against New Manna Christian on Thursday, falling 74-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bethel Christian Academy has scored all season.
A J Goode continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for New Manna Christian, scoring 25 points. Goode is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Wagner, who scored 12 points.
Bethel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for New Manna Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on February 2nd. As for New Manna Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
