Beaver Local barely beat Weir the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Beavers put the hurt on the Red Riders with a sharp 6-2 victory on Wednesday. Beaver Local might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win (which was Beaver Local's sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. As for Weir, they dropped their record down to 4-7-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Beaver Local has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against St. Clairsville on the 27th. As for Weir, they will venture away from home to take on Steubenville at 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd.
