Buckeye Trail entered their tilt with Monroe Central on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Seminoles. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Buckeye Trail easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Jersey Eddy and Anna Mcvicker, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Karsyn Oldson and her ten assists. Mcvicker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Buckeye Trail's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Monroe Central, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.

Coincidentally, Buckeye Trail and Monroe Central will both be playing Cambridge the next time they take the court. The Seminoles will head out to face the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
