Volleyball Recap: Raleigh Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Raleigh duked it out with McLaurin on Tuesday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 25-16.

Raleigh dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh will take on Mendenhall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLaurin, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson Davis County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
