Soccer Recap: Palm Desert Comes Up Short

Palm Desert was the 4-3 winner over Rancho Mirage when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Palm Desert Aztecs fell just short of the Rancho Mirage Rattlers by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Aztecs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Palm Desert's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7-3. As for Rancho Mirage, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2-3 record this season.

Palm Desert will be playing at home against Shadow Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rancho Mirage, they will head out on the road to face off against La Quinta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Rancho Mirage will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
