Basketball Game Preview: Waterloo Bulldogs vs. Chicago Hope Academy

The Waterloo Bulldogs and Chicago Hope Academy will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Waterloo is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Columbia just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. Meanwhile, Chicago Hope Academy suffered their closest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Red Bud by a score of 44-41. Chicago Hope Academy was up 32-17 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Chicago Hope Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
