Volleyball Game Preview: Crestwood Comets vs. Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack

The Crestwood Comets are taking a road trip to square off against the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilkes-Barre took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Crestwood, who comes in off a win.

Crestwood made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tunkhannock, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Crestwood was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Tunkhannock on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

While Crestwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Wilkes-Barre came up short against Abington Heights on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 23-25, 25-12.

Wilkes-Barre's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. Crestwood has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.
