Basketball Recap: Sulligent Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sulligent can now relate to. They took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Bay Tigers on Tuesday. The match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Red Bay found their leader in freshman Khalil Luster, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 rebounds. The game was Luster's third in a row with at least ten points.

The loss snapped Sulligent's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-9 record. As for Red Bay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.
