Volleyball Recap: Licking Valley Panthers vs. Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies
Licking Valley lost against Johnstown-Monroe back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Johnnies.
Licking Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Johnstown-Monroe work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12, 25-19.

Johnstown-Monroe had a senior duo take command as Luciana Smith had 33 digs and two aces and Ava Ruffle had six digs and two aces. Those 33 digs set a new season-high mark for Smith.

Licking Valley has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Zanesville on the 2nd. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Northridge on the 2nd.
