The Warren Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Kountze Lions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Warren suffered their biggest loss since December 30, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the victim of a tough 78-55 loss at the hands of Anahuac. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Warren has suffered against Anahuac since December 11, 2021.
Warren's loss came about despite a quality game from Jerrod Yeagin, who scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Lewis Petty, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Kountze put the finishing touches on their 18th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 115-33 win over Hardin. Kountze's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Warren has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Kountze, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.
