The Providence Panthers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Porter Ridge Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Providence is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Harding University. The Panthers blew past the Rams, posting a 68-40 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Porter Ridge against Forest Hills on Wednesday as the squad secured a 71-44 victory.

Things could have been worse for Providence, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-44 loss to Porter Ridge in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
