Volleyball Recap: Fideles Christian's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Fideles Christian was the 2-0 winner over The Habersham School when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Saturday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Rangers were not able to get on the board.

Kathryn Yastro paced Fideles Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Yastro got some help from Gabrels Cromer and her nine assists. Finally, Amelie Boozer kept Fideles Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fideles Christian fell to 4-1. As for The Habersham School, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fideles Christian will face off against Cherokee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Habersham School, they will welcome Effingham County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
