Basketball Recap: Lincoln Piles Up the Points Against Central Crossing

Lincoln won the last time they faced Central Crossing and things went their way on Friday too. The Lincoln Lions really took it to the Central Crossing Comets for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-26 victory. With the Lions ahead 39-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Central Crossing, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Lincoln has already played their next game, a 69-64 defeat against Centennial on the 25th. Central Crossing has also already played their next contest (against Canal Winchester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
