Summit faced Dobyns-Bennett in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Spartans narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Indians 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Summit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.
