The Parma Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Sandpoint Bulldogs at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Parma is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Parma took on South Fremont on Saturday. Parma skirted past South Fremont 9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since April 17, 2024.

Kaydn Brenneck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Samuel Hultman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Ethan Obenchain was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Parma always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Sandpoint didn't have quite enough to beat Lewiston on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Parma's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sandpoint, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
