Football Game Preview: Upper Sandusky Rams vs. Bucyrus Redmen

The Upper Sandusky Rams will head out to square off against the Bucyrus Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Upper Sandusky is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Seneca East on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rams lost 35-14 to the Tigers. The Rams were down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Colonel Crawford, falling 48-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Redmen were not able to get on the board.

Bucyrus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Upper Sandusky, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Upper Sandusky against Bucyrus in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-12 victory. In that game, the Rams amassed a halftime lead of 35-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
