Eureka waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lexington Minutemen. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eureka not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lexington between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lexington, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Looking ahead, Eureka will challenge Taylorville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to challenge Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
