Baseball Game Preview: Glendora Tartans vs. Walnut Mustangs

For the second straight game, Glendora will face off against Walnut. The Tartans will take on the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Glendora's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Walnut's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Glendora barely beat Walnut the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tartans never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The Tartans haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

John Seader was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Glaze, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Glendora's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Walnut, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.
