Basketball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Wayne challenged Lynnville-Sully on Monday. The Falcons had to suffer through an 82-28 loss at the hands of the Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 329th, while the Hawks are ranked 54th).

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Lynnville-Sully, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

As of now, neither Wayne nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
