Volleyball Recap: Oakland-Craig Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

The Oakland-Craig Knights beat the Nebraska Christian Eagles 3-1 on Saturday.

Oakland-Craig had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-16.

Oakland-Craig can attribute much of their success to Madeline Pearson, who had 17 digs and three assists.

Oakland-Craig has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. As for Nebraska Christian, they dropped their record down to 22-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Oakland-Craig didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 6th. Nebraska Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
