Bryant hadn't done well against Foley recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bryant Hurricanes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Foley Lions. While the Hurricanes didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory made it two in a row for Bryant and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Foley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryant will square off against McGill-Toolen at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Foley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Foley challenge the Baldwin County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
