Basketball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Parker Thundering Herd were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-53 to the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Parker will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ramsay at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Hewitt-Trussville and Mosley will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
