Baseball Recap: Sumner Academy Sabres vs. Harmon Hawks

Sumner Academy's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Harmon Hawks 8-6. The Sabres' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kyle McClish and Jaeden Hernandez made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, McClish tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Hernandez struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits.
