Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scott's Branch). They walked away with a 54-41 win over the Kingstree Blazers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-47 last Saturday.

Scott's Branch can attribute much of their success to Nigel Lawson, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Randy Williams, who earned ten points.

Scott's Branch's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Kingstree, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing East Clarendon the next time they take the court. Scott's Branch will head out to face East Clarendon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Kingstree will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
