Lamar proved they can win big on Friday (they won by five) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Florence Huskies by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Lamar, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Annabelle Morales and Josylynn Rodriguez scored both of Lamar's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Lamar's win bumped their record up to 10-3-2. As for Florence, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
