It was a good run, but Athens Drive unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against Apex recently, as their contest on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Athens Drive saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Bunch, who went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs.
