Round Mountain had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 22-5 margin over the Tonopah Muckers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 24-14 on Wednesday.

Round Mountain's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Tonopah, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Round Mountain will take on Mineral County at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Serpents have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Tonopah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beatty at 1:00 p.m. on the 24th.
