Volleyball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

The Orange Panthers came up short against the Riverside-Durham Pirates on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Orange was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-17.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Riverside-Durham, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orange will challenge rival East Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Riverside-Durham is set to square off against their familiar foe Millbrook at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
