Texico entered their tilt with Hagerman on Friday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Hagerman Bobcats by a score of  66-55. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  victory being a  77-50  win  two weeks ago.
 Despite the  defeat, Hagerman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Ricardo Mctague  shot 45% from the field on his way to 15  points and five  rebounds. That's the most points  Mctague has posted since back in February of 2024.  Felix Chacon was another key player,  going 5-for-12  en route to 11  points and seven  boards.
Texico's victory was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 25-2. As for Hagerman, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Texico will challenge Tucumcari at 6:00  p.m.  on March 8th. One thing working in Texico's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last 12 matchups. As for Hagerman, they will square off against Rehoboth Christian at 3:00  p.m.  on March 8th. Rehoboth Christian will roll in looking for their  15th straight  win, something Hagerman surely won't give up without a fight.
