Soccer Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside was the 2-1 winner over Cesar E. Chavez when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Westside Wolves fell 3-1 to the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos on Friday. Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Cesar E. Chavez, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5-2.

Looking ahead, Westside and Heights will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cesar E. Chavez, they will face off against Wisdom at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Wisdom will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Cesar E. Chavez surely won't give up without a fight.
