Basketball Game Preview: Biddeford Tigers vs. Brunswick Dragons

Biddeford and Brunswick are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Biddeford Tigers will challenge the Brunswick Dragons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Biddeford is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Noble just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 70-52 bruising from the Knights. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Knights are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Brunswick had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They snuck past the Blue Blazes with a 52-46 win.

The victory got Brunswick back to even at 7-7. As for Biddeford, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Biddeford didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brunswick in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 68-63 win.
