With a playoff win on the line, Mission College Prep rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They managed a 70-64 victory over the Venice Gondoliers. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Mission College Prep's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points over those games. As for Venice, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-16.

Coming up, Mission College Prep will face off against San Gabriel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mission College Prep will be up against San Gabriel Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.87 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
