Baseball Game Preview: Elgin Comets vs. Crestline Bulldogs

The Elgin Comets will square off against the Crestline Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Elgin nor Crestline posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Wednesday, Elgin came up short against East Knox and fell 7-2. The Comets have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Crestline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ridgemont.

Kordaie Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Crestline, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
