Baseball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bedford's offense. They came up short against the Concord-Carlisle Patriots on Wednesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Concord-Carlisle, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bedford is set to take on their familiar foe Newton South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Concord-Carlisle will face off against rival Wayland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
