Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Wins Going Away Against Unity Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quad City Christian, Coram Deo Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 win over the Unity Christian Knights. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 30-point performance the matchup before.

Coram Deo Academy found their leader in freshman Cooper Burgmeier, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals set a new season-high mark for Burgmeier. Another player making a difference was Jonas Clayton, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Unity Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Grant Heun and Hudson Radke. Heun dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Radke put up seven points and 11 boards. The Knights are 2-1 when Heun posts 15 or more points, but 0-3 otherwise.

Coram Deo Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Unity Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
