It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Mitchell ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Crawford County Wolfpack 6-5. The victory was nothing new for the Bluejackets as they're now sitting on six straight.

The team relied heavily on Dasen Kerr, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryson Zeeks, who earned one RBI, one run, and three stolen bases.

Mitchell's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Crawford County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mitchell will head out to challenge Scottsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford County, they will face off against South Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
