Basketball Recap: Josh Myers Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Concord Christian

Berean Christian won against Knoxville A last Monday with 77 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Berean Christian walked away with a 77-66 win over the Concord Christian Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-58 back in December of 2024.

Berean Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Myers out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards. Myers also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Berean Christian is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 8-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Connor Copeland, who went 9 of 14 to rack up 23 points and seven rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Berean Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points over those games. As for Concord Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which is still a better percentage than their 5-17 record this season.
