Basketball Recap: Simsbury Comes Up Short

Simsbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lewis Mills Spartans.

Simsbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lewis Mills, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Simsbury will look to defend their home court on Friday against Northwest Catholic at 6:45 p.m. As for Lewis Mills, they will head out to face off against Avon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
