Baseball Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short

Wheaton was the 12-1 winner over Walnut Grove when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 6-3 to the Tigers on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly three runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Wheaton and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Walnut Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Wheaton has already played their next game (against Greenfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Walnut Grove also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Fordland.
