Soccer Recap: United South Comes Up Short

United South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagle Pass Eagles. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

United South's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Eagle Pass, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Coming up, United South will challenge Laredo LBJ at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagle Pass, they are taking a road trip to take on Del Rio at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
