Soccer Game Preview: Forge Christian vs. Stargate School

The Forge Christian Fury will square off against the Stargate School Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forge Christian has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Forge Christian fell victim to Kent Denver and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Sun Devils. While losing is never fun, Forge Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Kent Denver are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Stargate School's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They skirted past St. Mary's Academy 2-1. Stargate School haven't had any issues with St. Mary's Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Danie Lewis and Ava Ridgell scored both of Stargate School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Stargate School's win bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Forge Christian, they now have a losing record of 3-4-2.
