Volleyball Recap: Harvard Comes Up Short

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Kenesaw Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6.

Tabi Forney paced Harvard's offense, picking up five kills. Forney got some help from Haley Gimpel and her three assists. Forney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Brooklynn Peshek went supernova For Kenesaw., getting 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave Peshek a new career-high. Kamille Kennedy also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Kenesaw, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Harvard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against McCool Junction on the 18th. As for Kenesaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Deshler on the 18th.
