Softball Recap: West Prairie Falls to Macomb in First Game of Season

West Prairie unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Macomb Bombers on Wednesday, falling 15-5. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their loss to the Bombers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Macomb now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Prairie will welcome Brimfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Prairie's pitchers better be ready for this one: Brimfield has averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Macomb, they will be playing at home against Astoria/VIT at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
