Softball Recap: Duncan Wins Going Away Against Valley Union

Duncan never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Valley Union Blue Devils. The Wildkats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Paisley Patton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaylynn Rhoton, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Duncan and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Valley Union, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Duncan has already played their next match, an 11-6 victory against Fort Thomas on the 17th. As for Valley Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-1 loss against St. David on the 17th.
