Volleyball Recap: Salt Lake Academy Takes a Loss

Salt Lake Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the South Sevier Rams, falling 3-0.

Amelia Anderson paced Salt Lake Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Anderson got some help from Mercedes Mendez and her six assists. Anderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Salt Lake Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Sevier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Salt Lake Academy will challenge Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Sevier, they will take on North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
