Basketball Game Preview: Kenesaw Blue Devils vs. Silver Lake Mustangs

Kenesaw has gone 8-2 against Silver Lake recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Kenesaw Blue Devils will square off against the Silver Lake Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Kenesaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, Kenesaw beat Deshler 51-39.

Jravin Suck had a dynamite game for Kenesaw, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. What's more, Suck also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddox Wagoner, who posted 11 points.

Kenesaw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Silver Lake strolled past Lawrence-Nelson with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 45-28. The Mustangs pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.

Silver Lake is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Kenesaw, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Kenesaw didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Silver Lake in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-37 victory.
