Polk County is 1-9 against Aquinas since September of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Slammers will head out on the road to square off against the Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. Polk County has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Polk County's tournament run continued when they took on Ord on Saturday. The Slammers lost 21-12 to the Chanticleers.

Polk County got a massive performance out of Mady Berggren, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Chloe Schott, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Aquinas narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past St. Paul 13-12.
