The Tidehaven Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Industrial Cobras at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tidehaven is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Tidehaven will head out to face Industrial after giving up their first home loss of the season on Monday. Tidehaven fell just short of Edna by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Tidehaven saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payge Mayo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Industrial was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of Columbus by a score of 2-1. The Cobras' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Khloe Lumpkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Industrial suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 12-4-1. As for Tidehaven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Tidehaven has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .433. However, it's not like Industrial struggles in that department as they've averaged .443. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Tidehaven took their win against Industrial when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tidehaven since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
