Basketball Recap: Timber Lake Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McLaughlin, Timber Lake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They slipped by the Sully Buttes Chargers 39-38. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 58-34 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Timber Lake has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Sully Buttes, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Timber Lake Panthers take on the McIntosh Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Sully Buttes has already played their next contest (against Stanley County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
